Ко Дню Великой Победы 1 мая открылась ретроспективная выставка плакатов студентов Высшей школы искусств и дизайна. Плакаты выполнены студентами в разные годы под руководством Евгения Васильевича БУРЛОВА.

Отдавая дань памяти советским солдатам, вставшим в годы Великой Отечественной войны на защиту Отечества, выражаем глубокое уважение к ветеранам ВОВ и труженикам тыла, всем, чьими заслугами ковалась Великая Победа.

Плакаты дают возможность ощутить масштаб трагедии Великой Отечественной войны. В работах студентов – глубокое понимание подвига многонациональной страны, которая спасла мир от фашизма. На полотнах – поколение победителей, принесшее мир нашей Родине.

Выставку можно посетить по адресу: ул. Тихоокеанская, 136, 3 этаж, левый световой коридор.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. "This time we received the coordinates of enemy vehicles marked 'V' in Kyiv region," it added.
