«Прежде всего, я слышал, что Kiwami разлетается, как горячие пирожки. Это хорошо. Руководители компании предсказывали продажи. Я сильно их недооценил. Думаю, я слишком осторожничал. [...] С выхода Kiwami прошло много времени, так что я считал, что люди по всему миру уже в неё поиграли. [...] Как тот, кто создаёт игры, я очень рад, что люди вновь в неё играют. Создавать ремейки трудно. Непросто ещё раз продать игру. Поэтому я так счастлив. Очень счастлив. Думаю, многие захотят ещё раз в неё поиграть на Switch. Я тоже её скачал. Здорово, что её можно взять с собой»,

Будем надеяться, что отличные продажи Yakuza Kiwami на Nintendo Switch подстегнут SEGA перенести остальные игры серии на консоли Nintendo.
