Исследователи договорились с проектом eLibrary, это такая база научных статей российских журналов, и получили датасет примерно из 400,000 научных публикаций, половина на английском и другая половина на русском. И обучили на них языковые модели BERT и RoBERTa.
Новость на первый взгляд хорошая: у нас мол-де тоже этот искусственный интеллект теперь есть, мы нисколько не отстаем, можно выдохнуть. Но на деле все далеко не так радужно.

Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. In February 2014, the Ukrainian people ousted pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych, prompting Russia to invade and annex the Crimean peninsula. By the start of April, Pavel Durov had given his notice, with TechCrunch saying at the time that the CEO had resisted pressure to suppress pages criticizing the Russian government.
