Let's address this.

1. First off, the term Neo-Paganism is used primarily as a means to discourage people from seeking it out and label it new age. It's an attempt to deligitimize practices.

2. Even among Occultic and later left leaning New Age Pagans it was much closer to Catholicism and Ceremonial Magics than anything Protestant.

3. This whole argument is ridiculous. They claim things are declining in the hope that you will lose faith and believe them. It's disenfranchisement.
The opposite is the actual case.
Paganism, Heathenism, Folk, and Dharmic faiths are growing.
The majority or the faiths today, which are not left wing Wiccan, are based on Reconstruction, Cross cultural studies, ancestor veneration, deep study, and direct spiritual experience.
Far from anything related to protestantism, and increasingly less and less hold over from Abrahamic faiths whatsoever due to research and reverse engineering.

Dont let mouth pieces like this speak about your faith to you.
Embody it and live it.
There are plenty of resources, groups, and growth out there.

If this isn't what was intended by the post I am replying to and he only was targeting "neopagan / wiccans" sure. But even among them, despite my disagreements with them, there can be more in common in their founding principles than with hyper conversion pushing Abrahamics.
