При обыске у него изъяли около 10 пистолетов-пулеметов марок «Томпсон», ППШ и ППС. СМИ пишут, что он оправдывался использованием оружия в качестве реквизита для военно-исторических реконструкций, правда все огнестрелы оказались рабочими. Маковецкий, кстати, часто работал с детьми, а жалоба к силовикам поступила анонимная: в обращении было сказано, что он изготавливает оружие в арендованном гараже и незаконно хранит его. В этом гараже у патриота рабочие пулеметы и нашли.

That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
