يجتمع في هذه الليلة شرف الزمانَيْن: ليلة وترية من العشر الأواخر، وليلة الجمعة، التي هي سيّدة الليالي.
وقد أورد ابن رجب - رحمه الله - عن ابن هبيرة قوله: "إذا اجتمعت ليلة الجمعة مع ليلة وتر، زاد رجاؤها في أن تكون ليلة القدر، إذ الفضائل إذا اجتمعت عَظُمت آثارها."
وقال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية - رحمه الله -: "إذا وقعت ليلة الجمعة في إحدى ليالي الوتر من العشر الأواخر، كانت أرجى لأن تكون ليلة القدر، لما في الجمعة من مزيد الفضل والبركة."
فلنغتنم هذه الليلة المباركة، بإقبال القلوب على الله، واستنزال رحماته، والدعاء بما يُصلح الحال والمآل، فإنها ليالٍ معدودات، وخيرها لا يعوَّض.
