Olimpiada chempioni va sovrindori Akbar Joʻrayev yana bir bor yuksak mahorat koʻrsatib, barcha yoʻnalishda eng katta koʻrsatkichlarni qayd etdi (183, 223 va 406 kg) va 3 ta oltin medalni qoʻlga kiritdi. Ushbu dasturda Joʻrayevdan keyingi natijani koʻrsatgan boshqa bir vakilimiz Sharofiddin Amriddinov (181, 214 va 295 kg) esa 3 ta kumush medal bilan taqdirlandi.

Заключительные дни чемпионата Азии по тяжёлой атлетике в Китае проходят успешно для сборной Узбекистана. Соревнования среди мужчин в весовой категории -109 кг стали бенефисом для наших спортсменов.
Чемпион и призер Олимпийских игр Акбар Джураев в очередной раз продемонстрировал своё мастерство, показав самые высокие результаты (183, 223 и 406 кг) во всех дисциплинах и завоевав 3 золотые медали. Ещё один наш представитель Шарофиддин Амриддинов, выступавший в этом же весе, зафиксировал следующий результат после Джураева (181, 214 и 295 кг), был награжден тремя серебряными медалями.
После этого успеха в копилке сборной Узбекистана имеются 3 золота, 3 серебра и 5 бронзы и пока наша команда занимает 3 место в медальном зачёте.
