Ключевыми факторами, которые по мнению канадских экспертов, депутатов парламента, лидеров общественного мнения и активистов диаспор, повлияют на развитие институтов демократии в будущем России являются: правда о колонизации и признание законных прав малочисленных народов на самоопределение.

От русскоязычной диаспоры Канады в работе конференции приняла участие Лана Кошкарева, руководитель проекта базы люстраций "Нюрнбергский процесс 2.0".
