بنابر اعلام دفتر نظارت و پایش مصرف فرآورده‌های سلامت سازمان غذا و دارو، امروزه مسمومیت ناشی از مصرف خوراکی مشروبات الکلی دست ساز و تقلبی بسیار شایع است.
به‌گزارش مهر بر اساس اعلام سازمان پزشکی قانونی کشور، در سال ۱۴۰۳، شش درصد و در پنج ماه اول سال ۱۴۰۴، پنج درصد از مرگ و میرها به دلیل مسمومیت با الکل‌ها اتفاق افتاده است.
آمارهای دریافت شده از بیمارستان‌های مرجع مسمومیت در کشور، نشان می‌دهد در سال ۱۴۰۳، ۱۰ درصد و در ۶ ماهه اول سال ۱۴۰۴، ۵/۸ درصد از مراجعان مسمومیت به بیمارستان‌های سراسر کشور با الکل‌ها مسموم شده‌اند.
بیشترین مسمومیت با الکل در در سال ۱۴۰۳ به ترتیب در شهرهای کرج، تهران، مشهد، مازندران و اهواز گزارش شده است. 🇸🇦Indypersian
