معاون راهبردی رئیس جمهوری در صفحه شخصی‌اش: ▫️ در شش ماه گذشته با سخیف‌ترین توهین‌ها، افتراها و تهدیدها نسبت به خود و خانواده‌ام روبرو بودم. ▫️در درون دولت نیز تلخ‌ترین دوران خدمت ۴۰ ساله را گذراندم اما به امید خدمت ایستادگی کردم. ▫️رئیس قوه قضاییه با اشاره به شرایط کشور توصیه کردند که برای پیشگیری از فشار بیشتر بر دولت، به دانشگاه بازگردم. بنده نیز بی‌درنگ پذیرفتم. ▫️امیدوارم با کنار گذاشتن بنده، بهانه‌ها برای سنگ‌اندازی در برابر خواست مردم و موفقیت دولت برداشته شود. ▫️هنوز به پشتیبانی از دکتر پزشکیان گرانقدر می‌بالم و برای ایشان و دیگر خدمتگزاران راستین به مردم بهترین‌ها را آرزومندم./ایسنا

The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp.
