الإمام موسى بن جعفر الكاظم(ع) الولادة: ولد يوم الأحد السابع من شهر صفر سنة (128) هـ في مدينة الأبواء بين مكة والمدينة. الشهادة: استشهد الإمام موسى بن جعفر مسموماً ببغداد في حبس السندي بن شاهك في الخامس والعشرين من رجب سنة ثلاث وثمانين ومائة (183)هـ مقامه مع أبيه تسع عشرة سنة مضى وهو ابن أربع وخمسين سنة. مدة الإمامة: خمساً وثلاثين سنة. ألقابه: العبد، الصالح، الكاظم، الصابر، الأمين، باب الحوائج، ذو النفس الزكية، زين المجتهدين، الوفي، المأمون، الطيب. كنيته: أبو إبراهيم، أبو علي، أبو إسماعيل وأبو الحسن الأول. مدفنه: بغداد في مقابر قريش. أسباب سجن الإمام (ع) 1 . حقد هارون على كل شخصية الإمام البارزة والمؤثرة.. 2 . بغضه على العلويين. 3. الوشاية به عليه.. أُعتقل الإمام الكاظم عليه السلام في شهر شوال سنة 971 هـ ، وبقي يتنقل من سجن إلى سجن، ولاقى فيها أنواع التضييق والتنكيل إلى أن عمد الرشيد إلى رطب فوضع فيه سماً فاتكاً وأمر السندي أن يقدمه إلى الإمام عليه السلام ويحتم عليه أن يتناول منه فمضى شهيداً سنة 183هـ .
