روى الطبراني في الدعاء (٨٧٨) بإسناد جيد أن ابن عمر كان يرفع صوته عشية عرفة يقول:
«لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير، اللهم اهدنا بالهدى وزينا بالتقوى واغفر لنا في الآخرة والأولى، ثم يخفض صوته ثم يقول:
اللهم إني أسألك من فضلك وعطائك رزقًا طيبًا مباركًا، اللهم أنت أمرت بالدعاء وقضيت على نفسك بالإجابة.
ربِّ وأنت لا يخلف وعدك ولا يكذب عهدك اللهم ما أحببت من خير فحببه إلينا ويسره لنا، وما كرهت من شر فكرهه إلينا وجنبناه، ولا تنزع منا الإسلام بعد إذ أعطيته لنا يا أرحم الراحمين».

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried.
