یک پهپاد آمریکایی MQ-9 Reaper توسط پدافند هوایی یمن به رهبری انصار الله در غرب یمن سرنگون شد.
تخمین زده می شود که توسط جنگ الکترونیک ساقط شده و برای بازیابی به غنیمت درآمده است.
یمنی ها در 6 ماه گذشته 4 پهپاد MQ-9 Reaper و 1 جت F-18 را سرنگون کردند.(آمریکا هدف قرار گرفتن جنگنده را هیچ وقت گردن نگرفت )
همچنین در این مدت یمن 6 ناو نیروی دریایی آمریکا و بریتانیا را هدف قرار داد.
البته آمریکا اعلام کرد که در عملیات های خود در باب‌المندب موفق بوده است.
اما در واقعیت نه کشتی های اسرائیلی می توانستند از تنگه عبور کنند و نه تحریم دریایی اسرائیل را توانستند کاهش دهند .
علاوه بر این، ایالات متحده بسیاری از وسایل نقلیه نظامی را از دست داد و تحریم به کشتی های ایالات متحده و بریتانیا به صورت جداگانه تعمیم یافت.
