Скрытое биоразнообразие и sdm

За последние 250 лет профессиональные ботаники видели брандушку разноцветную (Bulbocodium versicolor) на территории Воронежской области чуть более ста пятидесяти раз. Мой коллега Дима Владимиров собрал базу таких находок, и на ее основе мы с Мишей Орловым сделали карту, которая показывает вероятность найти редкий цветок по квадратам 100x100 м.

Метод построения таких карт называется sdm (Species Distribution Modelling). На вход модели подаем координаты с точками находок и растры, которые описывают условия местности: рельеф, температуры, увлажение и пр. Внутри ~~черного ящика~~ модели - ансамбль из нескольких алгоритмов машинного обучения. На выходе - прогноз на всю территорию.

Идея - показать, как с помощью sdm можно выявлять скрытое биоразнообразие территорий и проектировать перспективные ООПТ - ареалы с высокой плотностью редких видов.

"The result is on this photo: fiery 'greetings' to the invaders," the Security Service of Ukraine wrote alongside a photo showing several military vehicles among plumes of black smoke. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. The Security Service of Ukraine said in a tweet that it was able to effectively target Russian convoys near Kyiv because of messages sent to an official Telegram bot account called "STOP Russian War." One thing that Telegram now offers to all users is the ability to “disappear” messages or set remote deletion deadlines. That enables users to have much more control over how long people can access what you’re sending them. Given that Russian law enforcement officials are reportedly (via Insider) stopping people in the street and demanding to read their text messages, this could be vital to protect individuals from reprisals.
