Макс и Ирина собираются разводиться, их сын Дима сбежал из дома. Отправившиеся на поиски родители узнают, что мальчик отправился в деревню к Бате, отцу Макса. Макс вспоминает свое детство, когда родители во время развода отправили его к деду-фронтовику в деревню. Тогда строгий дед стал для него настоящим другом и учителем.

Главные роли исполнили Владимир Вдовиченков, Евгений Цыганов, Стас Старовойтов и Надежда Михалкова.
