В общем, готовила урок для группы B2 про катастрофы, но в учебнике всего одно упражнение на целый подкаст о трагедии в 1900 году в Техасе, как так? К тому же, двое ребят идут на региональный этап ВОШ, и им надо про историю хоть что-то знать + там еще есть задание, где замиксовано чтение и аудировние.
В итоге что?
В итоге получился целый воркшит, только не микс чтения и аудирования, а микс аудирования и аудирования. Ну и ладно, смысл, в принципе тот же, только чуть сложнее.
Состав: ⚫ lead-in discussion; ⚫ video (choose the best summary, but they are really easy); ⚫ interview (with a task to compare the resources); ⚫ second listening to answer several questions; ⚫ some discussion questions.
I didn't add any vocabulary work as the aim of this lesson is to practise listening in its purest form.
Что-то я автоматом на английский перешла...

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” Overall, extreme levels of fear in the market seems to have morphed into something more resembling concern.
