Сегодня завершилось Общее собрание Российской Академии наук, на котором состоялись выборы в РАН.
По итогам выборов решением Общего собрания членом-корреспондентом РАН стал заведующий Отделом горения и взрыва ФИЦ ПХФ и МХ РАН, доктор технических наук Леонид Самойлович Яновский, избранный по Отделению энергетики, машиностроения, механики и процессов управления РАН.
Мы искренне поздравляем Леонида Самойловича с избранием, а наш ФИЦ - с новым членом-корреспондентом РАН в его коллективе!

Update March 8, 2022: EFF has clarified that Channels and Groups are not fully encrypted, end-to-end, updated our post to link to Telegram’s FAQ for Cloud and Secret chats, updated to clarify that auto-delete is available for group and channel admins, and added some additional links. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. Artem Kliuchnikov and his family fled Ukraine just days before the Russian invasion. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands.
