С 15 по 16 октября в Барнауле прошел отборочный этап Кубка студенческой волейбольной ассоциации в Сибирском федеральном округе среди мужских команд. В соревнованиях участвовали пять команд.
Победу в соревнованиях одержал «Политехник - АлтГТУ». Второе место заняла команда Алтайского государственного педагогического университета, третье - Барнаульского юридического института МВД России, четвёртое - АлтГУ, пятое - АГМУ.
