В Космическом центре НАСА имени Джонсона прошел первый этап испытаний того, как астронавты будут вести себя на поверхности Марса после долгого путешествия в условиях микрогравитации 🛑

Астронавт НАСА Энн Макклейн провела в скафандре ряд операций на имитаторе марсианской поверхности и с имитацией марсианской гравитации: сбор образцов, переноска грузов, преодоление расстояние в полмили (800 метров), на которое у ней ушло 25 минут. В феврале 2025 года Энн Макклейн полетит на МКС с экипажем миссии SpaceX Crew-10 и пробудет на станции до конца года. После возвращения на Землю она вновь облачится в "марсианский" скафандр и повторит все задания и упражнения, но уже после девяти месяцев пребывания в космосе.

Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war. In the United States, Telegram's lower public profile has helped it mostly avoid high level scrutiny from Congress, but it has not gone unnoticed.
