27 января в библиотеке УКМП прошел час памяти «Была война, была блокада», которая приурочена ко Дню воинской славы России - Дню полного освобождения Ленинграда от фашисткой блокады - 27 января 1944 года.

Активисты, прочитав стихи, выразили свои чувства и эмоции, которые описывали мужество, страдания и надежду людей в самые трудные моменты истории.

Библиотекарь, рассказала присутствующим о событиях тех лет, о жизни людей в блокадном Ленинграде, о подвиге защитников города, о гуманитарной помощи и о том, как обычные граждане проявили заботу и поддержку друг другу в условиях страшного дефицита. Она упомянула о мужестве детей, женщин и стариков, которые боролись за выживание, о знаменитых страницах героизма и людской доброты.

Также в библиотеке была оформлена книжная выставка «Непокоренный Ленинград».

По завершении мероприятия все присутствующие почувствовали важность сохранения памяти и о том, как важно знать свою историю, чтобы уважать тех, кто прошел через войну, и ценить мирное время.
