«Ми проводимо розіграш Кубка у такому форматі вже років 50. Та навіть машина так довго не їздить. Треба щось змінювати, вдосконалювати, щоб іти в ногу з часом», — сказав очільник Комітету професіонального футболу УАФ Лужний.
Варіанти нових форматів, які розглядаються УАФ на заміну чинному поки що невідомі. Втім, можна подивитися на приклади Англії, Німеччини, Туреччини чи навіть Бразилії – там своя специфіка проведення кубкових змагань.
