Летом 41-го его призвали из Мурманска. Воевал дед под Алалакуртти, был пулемётчиком. Немец рвался к Кандалакше, что бы перерезать железную дорогу на Мурманск. Бои шли на линии Верман.
Захватчик так и не смог прорваться.
Но пулемётчик Минин Яков Демидович пал смертью храбрых в сентябре 41-го. Имя его увековечено в камне на братской могиле. Пять лет назад мы нашли это место.
