Ветра срывают высохшие листья.
Их стаи отправляются в полёт,
Мелькая, будто люди и событья,
Познавшие рожденье и исход.

Летит листва, но в пёстрой веренице
Мне видятся осколками стекла
Улыбчивые лица, лица, лица,
Которые мне память сберегла.

Ушедшим - тлен, ещё живущим - бремя
Стареть и помнить, жить и отцвести,
И оказаться рядом вместе с теми,
Кого уже оплакали дожди.

Миг слёз и расставанья неизбежен.
Мелькают листья бликами в окне.
Как жаль, что я однажды не утешу
Всех тех, кто будет плакать обо мне.

Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers.
