📑Верховна Рада України прийняла за основу законопроєкт №10273 «Про внесення змін до деяких законів України щодо функціонування Національної системи конфіденційного зв’язку та Національної електронної комунікаційної мережі».
Закон України «Про Національну систему конфіденційного зв’язку», розроблений у 2002 році, не врегульовує питань технологічних змін, що відбуваються.
Зараз тривають роботи зі створення захищеного вузла (системи) взаємоз’єднання спеціальних інформаційно-комунікаційних систем (мереж) для забезпечення взаємодії та міжвідомчого обміну інформацією з обмеженим доступом у мирний час та у період надзвичайного чи воєнного стану.
Надійність і безпека мережевих та інформаційних систем є дуже важливою для економіки та життєдіяльності країни, це відповідає і вимогам європейського законодавства.
Упровадження цієї системи потребує правового врегулювання, що й реалізовує законопроєкт, вводячи нові терміни та поняття.
