Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. This provided opportunity to their linked entities to offload their shares at higher prices and make significant profits at the cost of unsuspecting retail investors. "Your messages about the movement of the enemy through the official chatbot … bring new trophies every day," the government agency tweeted.
