"قلص الدمع في عينها" مرة واحدة وهي التي تصف نفسها في مصابها فتقول رضي الله عنها:"فَبِتُّ تِلكَ اللَّيْلَةَ حتَّى أصْبَحْتُ لا يَرْقَأُ لي دَمْعٌ، ولَا أكْتَحِلُ بنَوْمٍ". "وقدْ بَكَيْتُ لَيْلَتَيْنِ ويَوْمًا حتَّى أظُنُّ أنَّ البُكَاءَ فَالِقٌ كَبِدِي!".
فجأة قلص الدمع في عينها! لماذا؟ لأن ما سمعته كان مزلزلا، كان مقاما يستوجب تقلص الدمع!
فالمؤمن قد يبكي ويحزن ويتألم بشدة لكرب أصابه وظلم وقع عليه، لكنه عند مقامات الحق وإحقاقه، لا ينهزم أبدا!
قلص دمعها! لأن المقام مقام حق منصور، لا استجداء يهون معه الحق..!
