لو لم أجِد للسارقِ والزاني وشاربِ الخمرِ إلا ثوبي لأحببتُ أن أسترَه عليه

لا يجوز أن يُرمىٰ المسْلم بفاحشةٍ حتَّىٰ وإن وقعت منه إذْ الأصلُ في ذلكَ أن يَستُر عليه ويُدعىٰ إلى التوْبة لا أن يَكشِف أمْره لأنَّه لا بُد لهُ في هذه الحالَة مِن أن يأتِي بالشُّهود دليلًا علىٰ صِحَّة كلامِه وإلَّا فيجْلد ثمانين جلْدة وكلُّ ذلكَ حمَاية لأعْراض المسْلمين

Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function.
