Do you speak English?
Вот и я думала, что я "Yes, i do" пока не познакомилась с коллегами из Индии 🇳🇪

Уже вторую весну наша лаборатория встречает заморских аспирантов 👨‍🔬
Второй год подряд я подрабатываю гидом, показываю достопримечательности и знакомлю с русской культурой😍 И второй год подряд (в этот раз особенно) я понимаю, что не понимаю индийский английский ❓

В первый раз эту ношу разделила сначала Лиза, потом девочки из НИИ Любви, но даже так, после нескольких часов постоянного переключения с одного языка на другой, мой мозг перестал соображать хоть на каком-то 😐

Сейчас же такого не происходит из-за постоянного "Sorry, what did you say?" как с моей, так и со стороны гостя 😳 Но когда он старается, я начинаю понимать. Проблема правда в том, что он не старается большую часть времени. А мой "бритиш инглиш" не понятен ему уже из-за отсутствия проглатывания букв, которое проявляется, когда язык английский, а интонации остались от хинди 😩

Как говорится, send help 😥
А вы понимаете индийский или другой английский?

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. However, the perpetrators of such frauds are now adopting new methods and technologies to defraud the investors.
