Новая схема обмана у мошенников: никому не сообщайте свои данные и пароли

Участились случаи, когда мошенники, выдавая себя за представителей компании «Россети Кубань», обманом узнают у жителей Краснодарского края персональные данные под предлогом установки или замены счетчиков электроэнергии.

Также они могут запрашивать логин и пароль от портала «Госуслуги».

❗️Обращаем внимание, сотрудники «Россети Кубань» никогда не запрашивают такую информацию по телефону.

Telegram does offer end-to-end encrypted communications through Secret Chats, but this is not the default setting. Standard conversations use the MTProto method, enabling server-client encryption but with them stored on the server for ease-of-access. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. The regulator said it has been undertaking several campaigns to educate the investors to be vigilant while taking investment decisions based on stock tips. Update March 8, 2022: EFF has clarified that Channels and Groups are not fully encrypted, end-to-end, updated our post to link to Telegram’s FAQ for Cloud and Secret chats, updated to clarify that auto-delete is available for group and channel admins, and added some additional links. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today."
