В четверг в Музее Времени и Часов состоялась презентация новой коллекции часов компании «Рассвет», циферблаты которых выполнены в технике маркетри.

Изготовление таких часов - процесс исключительно трудоемкий, так как требует от художника много времени и терпения, чтобы подобрать нужные цвет и текстуру дерева, а общее количество элементов может достигать 35-45 в зависимости от сложности рисунка.
При создании картины для одного циферблата может быть использовано до 10 пород дерева.
