Чувство языка воспитывается прежде всего чтением. Из десятков и сотен прочитанных книг мы, сами того не замечая, усваиваем, что такое «хорошо» в литературе, а что такое «плохо», что важно, а что неважно, с помощью каких средств можно выразить те или иные мысли, события, эмоции и т.д. Эти закономерности и паттерны откладываются у нас где-то в глубине памяти, а потом всплывают, когда мы сами что-то пишем. Вряд ли стоит ждать стилистически сильных текстов от кого-то, чьё чувство языка сформировалось под влиянием только примитивных, сугубо развлекательных книг. Такому автору, чтобы научиться писать по-настоящему хорошо, придётся проделать очень большую работу.
