Учредителем АО «Судоходная пассажирская компания «Дон» (АО «СПК «Дон») будет министерство транспорта. «Планируемые маршруты: Ростов - Азов – Волгодонск, Ростов - Ейск - Анапа, Ростов - Керчь – Ялта», - пояснил заместитель губернатора Ростовской области – министр транспорта Владимир Окунев. Для возобновления речного и морского сообщения на первом этапе будут приобретены два речных судна «Валдай 45Р» и два морских судна «Метеор 120М».
