Правительство меньшинства само повышение налогов протащить не сможет. Те, кто готовы работать с правительством вообще, не хотят повышать налоги в частности. Нет налогов - нет увеличения бюджета. Как нет и особо желающих служить отечеству. В итоге наполеоновские планы перевооружения остаются только планами.
Возможно, после возвращения во власть Трампа, оппозицию додавят. А пока только получается покрывать не предусмотренные траты минобороны.
