5- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ: لَوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا اثْنَانِ لَكَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْإِمَامَ. السند: ضعیف. محمد بن یعقوب: إمامی ثقة، أحمد بن محمد: إمامی ثقة، محمد بن الحسن: هو الصفار إمامی ثقة، النهدی: هو الهیثم بن أبی المسروق مهمل و لکن یمکن قبول روایته مع الشواهد و لهذا الحدیث شاهد الصدق، أبو المسروق: مهمل، یونس بن یعقوب: فطحی ثقة. المحتوی: مقبول عند العقل و النقل.
ترجمه: یونس بن یعقوب می گوید: از امام صادق شنیدم می فرماید: اگر در روى زمين جز دو نفر نباشند حتماً يكى از آن دو فرد امام است. سند روایت ضعیف است ولی محتوایش بمانند روایات قبلی مورد تایید عقل و دین می باشد.
