16-летняя Анна Попова воспитанница Академии Ирины Винер. Первые шаги в художественной гимнастике будущая чемпионка делала в краевой школе олимпийского резерва.

«На соревнованиях Анна встретилась с серьёзными соперницами – звёздами отечественного спорта. И смогла одержать верх в личном многоборье. Это первая её золотая медаль чемпионата России. Уверен, все только начинается. Только вперед, Аня, Ставрополье с тобой», — написал губернатор 28 февраля в своём телеграм-канале.
