Вечером в субботу самолет Boeing 737-800 авиакомпании KLM Royal Dutch Airlines выполнял рейс KL1204 из Осло в Амстердам, когда вскоре после взлета у самолета произошел отказ гидравлики.

КВС принял решение уходить на аварийную посадку в аэропорт Торп Сандефьорд, расположенный в двух часах езды от места вылета.

После приземления Boeing 737 на небольшой скорости съехал с взлетно-посадочной полосы в траву. Никто из 176 пассажиров и 6 членов экипажа не пострадал.
