Оказывается, деревья находились в зоне остановки (жёлтая разметка) и мешали посадке и высадке пассажирских автобусов на Батайск. По словам нашего собеседника, этот вопрос между прокуратурой и мэрией решался четыре года (!). Одновременно по такой же причине убрали и кусок газона на Садовой (на фото).

Как там вообще появились деревья, если их туда сажать было нельзя, спрашивать даже не будем.
