🔸سپاهان نوین که در هفته نخست استراحت داشت، در ۲ بازی گذشته یک برد و یک شکست به ثبت رسانده بود و در رده هفتم قرار داشت؛ سایپا نیز با کسب ۳ پیروزی و ۶ امتیاز بر حسب تفاضل گل کمتر در جایگاه سوم ایستاده بود.
