Сегодня провел день с пользой – вместе с жителями и депутатом Самарской Губернской Думы Вячеславом Дормидонтовым принял участие в субботнике в поселке Восточный. Приятно видеть, как много жителей откликнулись и пришли навести порядок во дворе 159 дома по Зубчаниновскому шоссе.

Как участник «Комитета-450», я был особенно рад выделить заслуги активных жителей, которые внесли значительный вклад в благоустройство территории. Вручил им благодарственные письма от своего имени – их труд, несомненно, заслуживает признания и уважения.

Спасибо всем, кто присоединился к субботнику! Вместе мы делаем наш город чище и комфортнее! Уверен, что эта добрая традиция будет жить и дальше.

Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. Two days after Russia invaded Ukraine, an account on the Telegram messaging platform posing as President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged his armed forces to surrender. On Feb. 27, however, he admitted from his Russian-language account that "Telegram channels are increasingly becoming a source of unverified information related to Ukrainian events." Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children.
