36 лет назад, 15 февраля 1989 года, состоялся вывод советских войск из Афганистана.
Война, продолжавшаяся почти десять лет, стала испытанием для Советской армии, выдержать которое удалось благодаря мужеству и преданности своей родине каждого солдата, офицера, генерала.
Имена погибших в Афганской войне увековечены в памятниках, мемориальных плитах, названиях улиц, образовательных учреждений. Этот день стал символом памяти и уважения к воинам, с честью выполнявшим свой долг в горячих точках мира. Традиционно, в городах и районах Дагестана, регионах страны проходят памятные патриотические акции, сопровождающиеся возложением цветов к мемориалам.

Stocks closed in the red Friday as investors weighed upbeat remarks from Russian President Vladimir Putin about diplomatic discussions with Ukraine against a weaker-than-expected print on U.S. consumer sentiment. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
