Елена Анатольевна Мудрик осуществляет экспедиционные работы по сбору биологического материала журавля-красавки в Республике Тыва и Алтайском крае.

Красавка - редкий для России вид журавлей, гнездящийся в степной и полупустынной зонах Евразии. Работы проводятся в рамках гранта РНФ по изучению популяционно-генетической структуры красавки и серого журавля.

В полевых работах приняли участие исполнители проекта
Е.И. Ильяшенко, К.Д. Кондракова (ИОГен РАН, ИПЭЭ РАН), а также сотрудники Тувинского института комплексного освоения природных ресурсов СО РАН Т.П. Арчимаева и А.Н. Куксин.

It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. He floated the idea of restricting the use of Telegram in Ukraine and Russia, a suggestion that was met with fierce opposition from users. Shortly after, Durov backed off the idea. The company maintains that it cannot act against individual or group chats, which are “private amongst their participants,” but it will respond to requests in relation to sticker sets, channels and bots which are publicly available. During the invasion of Ukraine, Pavel Durov has wrestled with this issue a lot more prominently than he has before. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. But Kliuchnikov, the Ukranian now in France, said he will use Signal or WhatsApp for sensitive conversations, but questions around privacy on Telegram do not give him pause when it comes to sharing information about the war.
