📕 اسدالله خان عَلَم امیر قاینات (۱ مرداد ۱۲۹۸ – ۲۵ فروردین ۱۳۵۷) مشهور به اسدالله علم یکی از مهم‌ترین چهره‌های سیاسی دوران محمدرضا شاه، وزیر دربار از ۱۳۴۵ تا ۱۳۵۶ و نخست‌وزیر ایران از سال ۱۳۴۱ تا ۱۳۴۲ بوده‌است.

📚 وی در کتاب یادداشت های علم نوشته اینگونه مینویسد:
صبح به فرودگاه رفتم که شاهنشاه تشریف میآوردند سلطان قابوس را راه بیندازند سئوال فرمودند در این دو سه شب خوش گذرانی سلطان قابوس چه کرد؟ عرض کردم هر شبی چهار پنج خانم در اختیارش بود در خارج کاخ اما چه کرد نمی دانم فرمودند تازه داماد احیانا ناخوش نشود. عرض کردم دخترهای ایرانی تمیز شده اند و او هم خیلی آنها را دوست میدارد
