К тушению ландшафтного (лесного) пожара вблизи села Гимры Унцукульского района привлечен вертолет Ми-8 МЧС России.

В борьбе с огнем задействованы 82 человека: сотрудники Лесопожарного центра, республиканского МЧС, а также местные жители-добровольцы.

Руководитель Комитета по лесному хозяйству Дагестана Вагаб Абдулхамидов сообщил, что угрозы населенным пунктам и объектам экономики нет.

Доступ к некоторым очагам возгорания затруднен из-за крутых склонов и опасности камнепада.
