В Курчатов привезли ёлку с родины Деда Мороза, из Великого Устюга. Такую идею предложил тележурналист, автор автоэкспедиции «100 000 километров возможностей» Андрей Леонтьев.

Игрушки для зеленой красавицы высотой 12,5 метра раскрасили школьники, в том числе из приграничных районов Курской области. Ребята на мастер-классе расписали более 100 новогодних шаров. Игрушки вместе с новогодним деревом из Великого Устюга доставили в наш город 9 декабря.
А наряжают зеленую красавицу сегодня. Дети из приграничной зоны, которые обучаются в курчатовских школах, развешивали разноцветные шары, сказочных зверюшек...

Дед Мороз, в роли которого выступил Андрей Леонтьев, вручил ребятам новогодние подарки.
Еще шесть елочек из Вологодской области передали в образовательные учреждения города.
