20 января 1991 года крымчане в ходе первого на территории СССР референдума высказались за восстановление Крымской автономии в составе Советского Союза.
Главной движущей силой референдума было стремление к единству с Россией. А еще – политическая мудрость и здравый смысл наших земляков. Образно говоря, дети хотели жить с матерью, а не со злобной и лживой соседкой-Украиной.
Сегодня мы называем референдум 1991 года нашим первым шагом домой. Но это был и первый шаг к восстановлению единства Русского мира, проявление воли его народов, которую не смогли и никогда не смогут сломить наши враги.

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Such instructions could actually endanger people — citizens receive air strike warnings via smartphone alerts. The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion.
