Раз народившись, любов не буває замалою, як ніколи не замала найдальша зірочка у невідомому небі; як ніколи не замала свічечка в єдиному вцілілому вікні; як ніколи не замала шерстинка на одязі, знайшовши яку, опиняєшся вдома; як ніколи не замалий крок, зроблений назустріч; як ніколи не закоротке добре слово.
Раз оселившись, любов завжди уміщатиметься, безумовна й безумна: стане для неї і рук, і колін, і хліба, яким вона пахне впереміш із літнім дощем, і серця, мов горщик, запеченого. Місце її вже ніколи не спорожніє, кожна любов торує собі куточок, старанно витоптує на животі у мами — так-бо і ширшає Всесвіт.
