✨هذه الحيلة اللاشعورية التي يستخدمها الإنسان كدرع دفاعي، إذ يهاجم الآخرين بإلصاق عيوبه بهم ليُبعد عن نفسه ثقل مواجهتها، وأكثر ما يثير الدهشة هو قدرة البعض على أن يكونوا ناقدين لعيوب غيرهم، مشيرين إليها بوضوح، دون أن يبدو عليهم أي إدراك أو تأمل في عيوبهم الخاصة، وهنا تأتي الحيرة:

✨كلما قل وعي الإنسان بذاته، زادت جرأته في تفنيد أخطاء الآخرين وانتقادهم، سواء في أقوالهم أو أفعالهم أو حتى مظاهرهم.
✨وكلما تعمّق الإنسان في وعيه بعيوبه، كلما أصبح أكثر تهذيبًا في نظرته للآخرين، أكثر رحمة في حكمه عليهم، وأكثر انشغالًا برحلة إصلاح نفسه بدلًا من الغوص في عيوبهم."

Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." Members of the public who suspect that they have been approached by unauthorised firms or individuals offering schemes that promise unrealistic returns NEWS The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
