Доля семян отечественной селекции в 2023 году: 🥔 Картофель – 48,0%; 🌽 Кукуруза – 46,0%; 🌾 Рапс – 35,4%; 🌻 Подсолнечник – 29,5%; 🥕 Сахарная свёкла – 2,1%.
Обеспеченность семенами по картофелю, рапсу, подсолнечнику, свёкле очень мала, основной посевной материал – импортный.
Ситуация стала особенно критичной после введения санкций. Но, как и во многих других сферах, трудности только подстегнули отечественных селекционеров и аграриев. Сейчас в научных лабораториях и на опытных полях по всей стране идёт напряженная работа.

Meanwhile, while the price of WTI crude oil slipped from Sunday’s multiyear high $130 of barrel to $109 a pop. Markets have been expecting heavy restrictions on Russian oil, some of which the U.S. has already imposed, and that would reduce the global supply and bring about even more burdensome inflation.
