В год 80-летия Великой Победы в 188-й школе Красногвардейского района отметили полувековой юбилей военно-исторического музея 4-го Гвардейского истребительного авиационного ордена Ушакова II степени полка военно-воздушных сил Краснознамённого Балтийского флота. Школьный музей был открыт 3 марта 1975 года. Сегодня в нём собираются ветераны Великой Отечественной войны и жители блокадного Ленинграда, для которых ученики проводят экскурсии.

Со знаменательным событием коллектив школы поздравила депутат городского Заксобрания, региональный координатор партийного проекта «Единой России» «Историческая память» Вера Сергеева. Она вручила хранителям музея почетную грамоту петербургского парламента.
