Мы с коллегами внесли законопроект, который предлагает семь дней оплачиваемого отпуска для отцов новорождённых. Это не роскошь и не привилегия, а элемент нормальной, современной семейной политики.
Во многих странах такая практика действует давно. Короткий отпуск для отца помогает укрепить семью, снизить стресс у родителей и позитивно влияет на развитие ребёнка.
Россия должна двигаться в этом же направлении. Рождение ребёнка — не только личное событие, но и вопрос демографии, поддержки семьи и ответственности государства.
